CWDM Transceivers
CWDM Passives

CWDM

CWDM (Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing) is a technology that allows for multiple channels, of mixed protocols and data rates, to be COMBINED and transmitted over fiber optic cable.
Where previously additional fiber needed to be run, now existing strands can be more fully utilized, reducing fiber plant expenditures as bandwidth needs increase. Champion’s CWDM transceivers provide scalable intra- and inter-campus connections over fiber links. Eight wavelengths are available in multiple distances enabling substantial bandwidth without running new fiber.

Coupled with Champion’s passive WDM optics or WDM transport systems, the these products reduce the cost of high bandwidth network updgrades.
